Candidates should be aged between 18 and 25 years.

Applicants should have successfully completed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized Board. A relaxation in qualification is applicable, allowing 11th pass candidates who are the offspring of serving, retired, or deceased Delhi Police Personnel/ Multi-Tasking Staff of Delhi Police, as well as Bandsmen and buglers.

The application fee is ₹100. However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempt from paying the fee.
